Dental Implants

Dental implants are offered by our office as an option to replace missing teeth. Dental implants allow people who have lost teeth to regain the ability to eat virtually anything. Additionally, due to their natural appearance dental implants allow people to continue smiling with confidence.

Dental implants are composed of 2 major parts, the post, and the artificial tooth. The post is surgically placed into the jaw. The bone bonds with the post creating a foundation for the artificial tooth to be placed. In addition to restoring the ability to eat, dental implants also help prevent bone deterioration that occurs with missing teeth.
